Overview

Ådehlÿ Rähu Dåy was founded durring the early 14th century in winter of the year 1306, by Meleamorpha Zÿhbafral. The establishment of Ådehlÿ Rähu Dåy was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ådehlÿ Rähu Dåy's construction back out of the project. Meleamorpha Zÿhbafral pushed on reguardles, and Ådehlÿ Rähu Dåy was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Ådehlÿ Rähu Dåy was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ådehlÿ Rähu Dåy is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Ådehlÿ Rähu Dåy is buildings are arranged arround a single premissive flagstone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The brittle defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Ådehlÿ Rähu Dåy gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. This all rests atop the unmistakable impression the town is one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which Ådehlÿ Rähu Dåy brings to mind.

The operation was complicated by gale force winds which drowned out orders and hampered ranged combat.
